SPAGHETTI PIE

6 oz. spaghetti

2 Tbsp margarine

1/3 c Parmesan cheese

2 WELL BEATEN eggs

1 lb ground beef

1/2 c chopped onion

6 oz tomato paste

16 oz can tomatoes

1/2 tsp sugar

oregano to taste

garlic salt to taste

Parmesan cheese for topping

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain thoroughly.

Place spaghetti back in the pot & stir in the margarine, 1/3 c Parmesan cheese & eggs.

Place the mixture in a buttered 9" or 10" pie plate. Form the mixture to resemble a pie crust.

In a skillet fry the meat & onions. Drain.

Stir in the tomato paste, tomatoes, sugar, oregano & garlic salt.

Heat mixture thoroughly.

Place meat mixture on top of the spaghetti shell.

OVEN: 350º

BAKE: 20 minutes

When ready to serve sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.

YIELD: 3 - 4 servings
