preheat oven to 450º
2 1/3 c baking mix (bisquik)
2/3 c cold water
Mix until a soft dough forms; knead 30 seconds on lightly floured surface.
Pat out to about 1/2" thickness and cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
OVEN: 450º
BAKE: 8 - 10 minutes
YIELD: 8 - 12 biscuits (depending on size)
Variations:
mix in 1/3 c crisply fried & crumbled bacon
mix in 1 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
substitute 1 c sour cream or 2/3 c plain yogurt in place of the water & add 1 Tbsp snipped chives or parsley
mix in up to 1/2 c shredded hard cheese
